eMeasure

eMeasure allows you to measure from digital construction plans & blueprints with ease! Take-off areas, lengths and counts, then drag and drop your measured dimensions (live-linked) straight into your spreadsheet - it couldn’t be easier! eMeasure is made to measure.

1.Eliminate Tracing with Smart Measurement Tools:
CAD drawings can be measured very quickly using digital Take-off software. Some platforms even offer smart measurement tools that allow users to measure an entire room with a single click. For subcontractors required to measure a large number of rooms and areas, this capability can make the entire measuring process a whole lot quicker. Users who are measuring an entire house build can get a total dimension figure in a matter of minutes.

2.Create Dimensions Sheets to Track Take-off:
No matter how many times you have manually measured for a large project, it’s easy to lose track of the data you have gathered along the way. A mistake in this regard can set your whole project back several hours, but Take-off software allows you to keep everything in the right place with defined dimensions sheets.
Dimensions sheets are easy to create within digital platforms. Simply create a title for your sheet, before selecting the mode of measurement you are storing (area, count, length etc.). Users can select which folder they would like to store sheets in, making it easy to track progress. Some software platforms even allow users to set colors within a dimension sheet based on positive or negative dimensions.
Digital Take-off software is all about reducing double-handling and avoidable errors, and dimensions sheets are certainly helpful in this regard.

3.Live-Linking – Say Goodbye to Manual Data Entry:
Live-linking between Take-off software and spreadsheets eliminates the need for bulk manual data entry. Software users can simply ‘drag and drop’ measured dimensions into a spreadsheet, with several pieces of information able to be stored within a single spreadsheet cell. The beauty of live linking is that any subsequent changes that are made to the dimensions using your software are automatically updated on the linked spreadsheet. This saves you the effort of going backwards and forwards between your takeoff and spreadsheet ensuring everything is up-to-date.
Modern Take-off platforms that support live-linking allow you to input multiple dimension sheets at once to save time. Live-linking also mitigates the risk of copy-paste errors that damage the overall accuracy of your Take-off.
